Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of Trader Desk, including the Chrome extension, website, Free and Pro features, journal, Trade Lock, training, market-planning resources, and related services.

Last updated: September 2, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, installing the Trader Desk extension, purchasing Trader Desk Pro, or otherwise using Trader Desk, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Trader Desk.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use Trader Desk. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity that occurs through your account.

You agree to provide accurate account information and not to share, resell, sublicense, or misuse access to paid Trader Desk features.

3. Educational and Informational Purpose

Trader Desk is not a broker, investment adviser, financial adviser, commodity trading adviser, or fiduciary.

Trader Desk provides software tools, educational content, market-planning resources, journaling, analytics, live educational sessions, and trading-discipline features. Nothing provided through Trader Desk constitutes personalized investment, legal, tax, or financial advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, futures contract, or other financial instrument, or a guarantee of trading results.

You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, orders, risk management, broker account, and compliance with any rules that apply to you.

4. Trading Risk

Trading futures, securities, options, and other financial products involves substantial risk and may result in the loss of some or all of your capital. Past performance, example trades, historical results, educational examples, journal statistics, or live trading activity do not guarantee future results.

You should trade only with capital you can afford to lose and make your own independent decisions before entering any trade.

5. Trade Lock Limitations

Trade Lock is a discipline tool designed to help users follow self-imposed trading rules. It is not a broker-level risk control, exchange control, or guaranteed method of preventing trades.

Trader Desk may depend on user actions, browser state, Tradovate webpage behavior, internet connectivity, extension permissions, and other technical conditions. Trade Lock may fail, become unavailable, be bypassed, reset, or not detect every possible order or interaction.

You remain fully responsible for monitoring and controlling your brokerage account and trading activity. Do not rely on Trader Desk as your sole risk-management or loss-prevention mechanism.

6. Market Plans, Training, and Live Content

Market plans, levels, GEX/volume-profile observations, TradingView tools, live-room commentary, training materials, examples, and other Trader Desk content are provided for educational and informational purposes only. They may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or become outdated as market conditions change.

You are responsible for independently evaluating all information before acting on it.

7. Free and Pro Services

Trader Desk may offer Free and paid Pro features. We may add, remove, modify, or reorganize features over time. Some features may require a supported browser, third-party account, compatible broker interface, or active Pro subscription.

8. Billing and Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are processed through our payment provider, currently Paddle. By purchasing Trader Desk Pro, you authorize the applicable recurring charges shown at checkout until the subscription is canceled.

Prices, billing periods, taxes, renewal terms, cancellation terms, refunds, and other purchase terms may also be presented during checkout and form part of your purchase agreement. If there is a conflict regarding payment processing, the terms displayed by the payment provider at checkout may also apply.

You may cancel a subscription using the subscription-management method made available to you. Canceling generally stops future renewal charges but does not automatically erase your Trader Desk account or previously stored journal data.

9. Third-Party Services

Trader Desk may integrate with or link to third-party services such as Tradovate, TradingView, Supabase, Paddle, Netlify, YouTube, Vimeo, Zoom, Discord, or other providers. Those services are independently operated and may have their own terms, privacy policies, outages, limitations, and account requirements.

Trader Desk is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, policies, or performance of third-party services.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Trader Desk, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer or copy protected functionality except where applicable law expressly permits it, distribute malware through the service, use Trader Desk to violate law or third-party rights, or resell access without written authorization.

11. Intellectual Property

Trader Desk software, branding, interfaces, training materials, market-planning materials, videos, graphics, text, indicators, workflows, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Trader Desk / Chad Trades and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Your purchase or use of Trader Desk gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose. It does not transfer ownership of Trader Desk intellectual property to you.

12. User Content

You retain ownership of journal notes, screenshots, and other content you submit to Trader Desk. You grant Trader Desk the limited rights necessary to host, store, process, display, back up, and transmit that content solely to operate and provide the service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that content you upload does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.

13. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Trader Desk available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. We may perform maintenance, change features, address security issues, discontinue functionality, or suspend access when reasonably necessary.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trader Desk is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that Trader Desk will prevent losses, prevent overtrading, produce profitable trades, remain uninterrupted, or be free from errors.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trader Desk, Chad Trades, and their owners, operators, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, brokerage losses, data loss, indirect damages, consequential damages, or damages arising from reliance on market commentary, Trade Lock, third-party services, or other Trader Desk features.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

16. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material violations of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security threats, unlawful conduct, or nonpayment of paid services. You may stop using Trader Desk at any time and may request deletion of eligible account data as described in the Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Trader Desk changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of Trader Desk after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
